The Betting and Gaming Council is the standards body for the betting and gaming industry and its members include betting shops, casinos and online betting and gaming companies.

Betting and gaming is a key part of the UK’s dynamic and diverse leisure and entertainment industry. The industry contributes over £3.9 billion in taxes to the UK Exchequer and provides work for over 100,000 people. As the single industry body, we work with our members, large and small, to raise standards, create a culture of safer gambling and build public and institutional trust in our world class industry.

Established in 2019, the BGC puts the customer first to drive standards over and above regulatory requirements to ensure a safer, fairer betting and gaming experience for all.
