The year in review

Mission (not yet) Accomplished

It’s safe to say it’s been an eventful year for the BGC. The Covid-19 pandemic has presented its own challenges, but we haven’t taken our eye off our top priority – raising standards and driving big changes across our industry.

Battling for Britain

With Britain facing its gravest challenge in living memory, BGC members rallied to support the national effort against Covid-19. Venues across the country stepped up to support frontline services, vulnerable individuals and communities.

BGC Fights to Save Jobs

With betting shops and casinos shut and live sport – a major source of revenue for shops – cancelled, the BGC fought to safeguard the 64,000 industry jobs at risk.
