Supporting high standards across the regulated gambling sector
The Betting and Gaming Council is introducing an Associate Membership Scheme. This new category is designed for organisations that work closely with BGC members and wish to be visibly associated with our work and standards.
Associate Membership provides an opportunity to build a closer relationship with the BGC, gain appropriate visibility with our members, and support our shared commitment to a well-regulated, responsible gambling industry.
Who is Associate Membership for?
Associate Membership is open to companies and individuals carrying on legitimate business within the regulated UK gambling sector, and who are not eligible for full BGC membership.
For example, Associate Members could include (but are not limited to) organisations operating in areas such as:
- Software and technology solutions
- Professional services (including consultancy and legal services)
- Insurance
- Financial and payment services
All Associate Members must align with the BGC’s values and agree to abide by our Code of Conduct.
What is an Associate Membership?
Associate Membership is a transactional relationship that provides defined deliverables in return for an annual fee.
It is important to note that:
- Associate Membership does not provide the same rights, benefits or privileges as full BGC membership
- Associate Membership does not imply endorsement or recommendation by the BGC
- Membership is subject to approval and ongoing compliance with BGC standards
Further details on eligibility, governance and terms are available on request.
Membership options
We offer two levels of Associate Membership.
At a high level, Associate Membership includes:
- Inclusion in the BGC Associate Member Directory and website
- Regular communications and updates from the BGC
- Opportunities to engage with the BGC and its members (depending on membership level)
Full details of benefits, fees and arrangements are available by contacting us.
