Cash4Clubs backs grassroots sport as applications prepare to open

Grassroots sports clubs across the country are set to benefit from fresh support through Cash4Clubs, with applications opening on 1 October 2026.

The programme, backed by Flutter Entertainment, provides practical funding to community sports clubs, helping them invest in the areas where support is needed most.

Betting and Gaming Council CEO Grainne Hurst welcomed the continued backing for grassroots sport and highlighted the important role local clubs and volunteers play in communities across the country.

Hurst said: “Grassroots sport is at the heart of communities across the country, and initiatives like Cash4Clubs make a real difference to the clubs and volunteers who keep it going.

“It is great to see Flutter continuing to back community sport with practical funding that clubs can use where they need it most.

“Sport at every level benefits from the backing of BGC members, and Cash4Clubs is another strong example of that support in action.”

Cash4Clubs supports grassroots organisations by providing funding that can be used to strengthen facilities, equipment and participation opportunities.
